The BCG College Of Photo Education :)

Since so many of us are locked away in our homes, I thought I’d put together a “master list” of the various articles and videos found on this site. Below, you’ll find a long list of categories and the posts that go with them. There are hours of video and hundreds of pages of articles at your virtual fingertips. Plus, all the posts on this site are free 🙂

(Note – all links open in a new tab AND you may find the same topic under multiple categories.)

Enjoy!!

D 500 and Nikon lenses.
is it true that each Nikon lense should be matched up/mated to the camera it will be used withy and the camera/lenso combo will be remembered each time the same body and lense is used. Does it make that much of a difference in sharpness and IQ.
I live near Nikon headquarters in Farmingdale, Ny…will they do it? Wanted to get the camera and lenses cleaned and checked anyway.

Thank you Steve I have all your stuff and use it continually as a refresher for my ageing brain as I seem to get a little bit better technically each time I “refresh”. Just amazing generosity and organisation, cheers mate. Stay safe to you and yours, be well in these very trying times.

Thank you Steve, for your extreme generosity in providing ALL of this information in one, easily navigated web page! I picked up a used Nikon D5200 last year around this time. By June, I plunked down some bigger bucks on a D7500 kit and then…well, I’m sure you know how that story goes. More gadgets, more lenses, more photos, and on it goes. Every step of the way I’ve been reading your reviews, buying your e-books (incredible resources!) and watching your videos. Your easily understood instructions and advice are amazing tools for those just getting into digital photography, as well… Read more »

‘Found you’ about a year or so ago on You Tube, love everything you do for us! I’ve gone through most parts of the Focus System book but still struggle with: Do I hold the BBF button in while releasing the shutter? I know I should know…but I can’t get my head around it!
Thanks!
PS … I’ve shared this with compilation with my fledgling photography group.

Thanks for organizing your material. I enjoy all of your content. It’s made me a better photographer. And my nature photography gets me outdoors which is the ultimate goal.

One FYI: The two “How To Use A Polarizing Filter” links aren’t working.

Hi Steve,

Not sure you’re aware but BCG in the medical world stands for the Bacillus Calmette–Guérin vaccine used against TB in some countries. If you already knew that, your post is a great pun.

Best,
